Established in 1755, d’Angleterre quickly became a Copenhagen institution. Located on the finest square in the city centre, the legendary hotel is praised for its elegance, luxury and class. As the final finish to a complete revitalisation, we helped them create a new visual identity to cement the position as a fashionable and cultural hotspot.
The logo combines the delicate balance between heritage and modernity with the eminent quality and elegance expected from a five-star hotel. The centred composition and deep green colour provide vibes of greatness.
Matching indulgence and pleasure with pulse and privacy, the identity is as exquisite as the experience provided every guest. Highlighting over 250 years of heritage, it is centred around a bespoke typeface classic in design, yet modern in proportions. Just like the grand lady herself.
Consisting of generously spaced uppercase letters only, the condensed bespoke typeface DANGLETERRE is the hotel’s personal voice. Used in headlines, on signage throughout the hotel and every printed material, it works equally well on every platform.
